This DVD contains 27 short videos previously published on two videocassettes, Doctrine and Covenants and Church History Video Presentations (53912) and Teachings from the Doctrine and Covenants and Church History (53933). These videos teach principles from the Doctrine and Covenants and Church history. They can be used to supplement gospel doctrine classes, family home evenings, and personal study. All are in English, and many are in French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Lesson 1: Overview of Church History. The history of the Church is briefly outlined and divided into six major periods. (10:30)

Lesson 3: A Search for the Truth. The story of young Wilford Woodruff's search for the true Church explains the Apostasy and need for the Restoration. It emphasizes four essential elements of the true Church that were lost because of the Great Apostasy. (15:42)
